ABOUT LEA
In 2016, I re-located to Marsden, in the Huddersfield area with my husband and teenage son to set up my practice, Evolving Therapy. I enjoy the beautiful moors scenery on my long walks with my dog, discovering new views and landscapes every day.
I began my career in complementary therapies more than twenty-five years ago.
My initial practice was reflexology-based in 1992 but by 1999 I had incorporated Massage, Reiki and Homeopathy to therapeutic skills I was able to offer to a wide range of clients in my thriving practice in Surrey.
In 2008 I moved to Guernsey with my son to live with my fiancé where I set up and ran a busy clinic for eight years. During this time, I expanded my professional development into counselling and supervisory practice. I worked with two charities, one focusing on bereavement, loss and trauma counselling, the other with relationship and couples counselling.
I bring a wealth of experience to my clients' needs, always treating the individual holistically and in complete confidence. I am fully insured to practise all the therapies offered. I am an accredited member of National Counselling Society MNCS(Acc) and a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy MBACP.
My private practice is based in Marsden off the Meltham Road, nicely out of the way, but within walking distance from Marsden train station.
I work both on line, telephone and in person with my supervisees to be as flexible as possible to support their individual supervision needs.
If you have any further questions about the therapies I offer, or would like to learn more, please look around the web site or contact me directly.
